Individual Therapy

$175 per 50-minute session*

Adolescence and early adulthood is filled with unique emotions and developmental challenges that can require additional support. Often times friends and family members are too connected to us to objectively understand what we’re going through, or they may even be battling their own issues making it necessary to seek help from a professional. Utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy approaches individual treatment will help you to explore the thoughts and feelings connected to your behavior and introduce coping skills for managing your responses in a healthier way.

Depending on your needs and progress on treatment goals, the length and frequency of therapy can range from short-term to more intensive long-term treatment. Sessions with family members may be considered in treatment planning as an opportunity for them to learn how to best support you, and further your individual treatment goals.

Issues commonly addressed in individual therapy may include:

depression, anxiety, trauma & PTSD, self-injurious behavior, family conflict, relationship concerns, identity/other diversity related concerns, gender & sexual identity, behavioral issues, substance use, grief, coping skills, bipolar disorder, impulse control, personality disorders

Out-of-Network Provider

For all insurance plans, I am eligible for reimbursement as an “out-of-network” provider. Many of my clients use insurance to help them obtain reimbursement for a percentage of the amount paid for their session. To find out what your benefits are, call your insurer and ask them what "out-of-network" mental health benefits are available to you. For clients with out-of-network benefits through insurance carriers, I will gladly provide the necessary documentation to meet the insurance company's requirements for reimbursement.
